Paradise for Game Lovers, GamesCom 2012!

Are you a major game fan? Then you might have heard about GamesCom, the largest game event in Europe, which takes place every year in Germany.

GamesCom started as a trade fair for video games but as video games evolved and became more mainstream, it also began to showcase interactive games and entertainment.

We’ve already written about how game obsessed Koreans can be. So it’s fitting that Korean companies created popular games like Blade and Soul , Tera (both showcased at GamesCom 2012) and Lineage, which have gained popularity around the world.

This year Korea became the official partner country of GamesCom 2012, showing Korea’s influence over the industry.

According to the GamesCom website, 31 Korean game companies and organizations participated this year, promoting Korean games to more people than ever.

LG also provided its brand new IPS monitors at the trade show. As an official display sponsor for eight big publishers at the GamesCom, LG’s booth was filled with people. Its IPS monitors boasted natural colors and color accuracy that helped to reduce eyestrain. No doubt this is especially important to gamers participating in epic, hours-long tournaments.

The list of things I like (and like to do) is endless: Shopping, Gummy jellies, Lilies... and it goes on
