Top K-pop Stars Revealed to be Robots

A video of a group of robots dancing to K-pop became a viral sensation on the internet not long ago. I remember liking the video well enough to share it with my friends as well. I mean who wouldn’t? It’s robots and K-Pop, the two hottest things on the earth together!

As you could see in the video, while the robots were cute, they didn’t in any way resemble actual K-pop stars. But what if they did. Imagine a robot that looks and dances just like TOP from Big Bang!

A Korean robotics company saw a business opportunity in this very idea. Dongbu Group has announced a project to release robots that will look and dance like popular K-pop singers like Girls’ Generation and Super Junior. (Some conspiracy theorists already think that these groups are made up of Robots because of their combination of looks, dance moves and singing talent.)

By joining forces with Intelligent Recreational Robots and Ocean Bridge E&T, Dongbu Group will have the ability to create robots that can bend 20 joints, which will enable them to follow the exact dance move of K-pop stars.

K-pop fans, prepare yourselves for the end of this year when these robots are likely to be released!
